The <\/SPAN>Scottish Government<\/SPAN><\/A> maintains digital boundaries for the designated areas of Scotland's National Parks<\/SPAN> for the provision of relevant statistics and to support policy development<\/SPAN>. Scotland currently has two National Parks<\/SPAN>: <\/SPAN>Loch Lomond and the Trossachs<\/SPAN> National Park established in 2002, and <\/SPAN>Cairngorms <\/SPAN>National Park established in 2003 (extended in 2010)<\/SPAN>.<\/SPAN><\/P>

Scotland's National Parks <\/SPAN>aim<\/SPAN> to deliver better management of areas of outstanding natural and cultural heritage<\/SPAN>, and serve as models of sustainable development<\/SPAN>.
